Molecular Testing

Molecular Diagnostics is a collection of techniques used to detect and analyze targeted markers in biological samples. How your body expresses genes or what genes may be present from foreign invaders can play a significant role in your current and future health. Summit Clinical specializes in real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) testing to detect various disease states.

Caused by the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19 is a severe acute respiratory syndrome virus that was the cause of the 2019 pandemic. Today, a COVID-19 RT-PCR test is readily and easily available upon request from any Summit walk-in clinic.
