Now offering appointments for the
COVID-19 vaccine at our Foxpoint location
Who is eligible?
We adhere to Wisconsin's Department of Health Services guidelines to determine who is eligible to receive vaccines. See their website for additional information.
** if someone is not on the eligible list (listed to the left) we can put them on the waiting list, and they will receive a phone call to receive the vaccine if there are no-shows for any appointments.
What vaccine do we administer?
The first batch is the Pfizer vaccine, which may change moving forward
WHAT ARE THE Requirements for testing?
You must have a negative Covid-19 result that was COLLECTED within 48 hours of receiving the vaccine
If the test is not done at Summit Clinical Laboratory, patients MUST bring a copy of their results to their vaccination appointment
Why is a negative test necessary?
The CDC advises against receiving the vaccine if you have a current Covid-19 infection. We do not want to put anyone’s health at risk by administering the vaccine to anyone who is currently infected.
We will schedule second doses during the initial appointment. In accordance with CDC guidelines for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, it is recommended to schedule your appointments 3 weeks (21 days) apart. There is a grace period of 4 days earlier than the 21 days and up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose. For more information, see the CDC website for up-to-date guidelines.
